Pablo Yotich started his career with feature film El abismo… todavía estamos, made with the support of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo and the writing collaboration of Aida Bortnik. The film was well received in Europe, particularly in Spain. It also participated at Havana’s New Latin American Cinema Festival, with great repercussion in the audience. He then made the feature films Cuatro de copas, Cartas de mi padre, Alma de furia and Huellas; this last one focusing on the issue of gender violence. In 2021 he finished the shooting of the feature film Los bastardos, which focuses in political violence experienced by the disenfranchised population of the Province of Buenos Aires’ suburbs.
