Matilde Michanie is a researcher, screenwriter, director, and producer of documentary films. She studied film in Argentina and later moved to Germany, where she graduated from the University of Kassel. Several of her documentaries The Wastelands, Street Children in Buenos Aires – Too Late for Tears, Your Beloved Presence, Hitler in Paraguay were produced by television networks and film funds in that country.Since her permanent return to Argentina, she has directed and produced her documentaries License Number One, Jews by Choice, The Epic is Over, and How to Tell You I Love You. As a producer, she worked on the documentaries A Bird’s-Eye View,One of Us, Something Went Wrong, and Falklinas.
