Malena Martins Yanz (Buenos Aires, 1995) graduated with a degree in Film Directing from Argentina’s National School of Filmmaking (ENERC, as per its Spanish acronym). She has worked professionally in the production area of various television formats and fiction series for platforms such as Netflix and HBOMax. She is currently continuing to gain professional experience in directing teams, working as an assistant for films and series. Her documentary short film Vestinshou (2019) premiered at the 21st edition of the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI). La otra hermana is her first independent fiction short film.
