Born in Madrid (Spain), in 1976. He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the feature film Mindscape, distributed in Spain by Warner Bros. In 2015 he joined the directing team of the series The Ministry of Time, in which he is still currently working. This series has earned several Ondas Awards and tens of national and international prizes. In 2015 he also directed the TV movie Teresa, which received a Silver Medal at the New York Film Festival. In 2017 he directed, together with Enrique Urbizu, the series Gigantes, produced for the Movistar Plus platform. He later directed several episodes of The Pier, and more recently he has directed the series The Head, for the Mediapro Studio, HBO Asia, and Hulu. He has been nominated three times for the Goya Awards.
