After studying Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires and Cinematography at the Argentine Film Industry Union (SICA, as per its Spanish acronym), Gabriela Fernández developed her skills as a Character Animator in various techniques (2D Cut Out, 3D, Stop Motion) for TV series and advertising. She also produced several of her own short films and participated in two collective films as a member of the Argentine Network of Women and Diversities in Animation (RAMA, as per its Spanish acronym). She has created several personal audiovisual pieces, including the short film ¿Con qué sueñan los perros? (2012) and her latest stop-motion animated short, Om (2020).
