Eduardo Casanova is a Spanish actor, screenwriter and director. He is mainly known to the public thanks to his role in the television series Aída. In 2016, he directed his first feature film Pieles (Skins), in which he worked with actors and actresses such as Candela Peña, Macarena Gómez and Ana Polvorosa, among others. The film was produced by Álex de la Iglesia, Carolina Bang and Kiko Martínez. In 2017 the movie participated in the Berlinale’s Official Panorama Section. La piedad (Piety) is his second feature film, which has been made in co-production with the Argentine production company Crudo Films, managed by Jimena Monteoliva and Florencia Franco.
