Cristina Agüero has devoted her life to cinema, starting her career as an actress before moving into film production in 1995, producing and writing her first movie. She has produced five feature films to date: Policía corrupto (1996), Me robaron el papel picado (2009), Deja la luz prendida (2018), La casa en la playa (2019), and Olaf (2022). She also directed the short film El tigre, which won the San Luis Cine contest in 2007. Olaf is her first feature film that she not only directed but also produced and wrote. She is currently working on her sixth film, titled Mujeres, una segunda oportunidad. In addition to her film career, she studied Engineering at the National Technological University, and is currently pursuing a Law degree at the University of Buenos Aires.
