BIO

The director, producer, and screenwriter, Ariel Winograd, was born on August 23, 1977, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1999 he made his directorial debut with the short film 100% Wool, which was followed by Dracool (2000), Volare (2001), and Companions (2002). In 2004 he directed his first documentary film, Fanatics; and in 2006 his first feature film, Cheese-face: My first ghetto. He has made films such as My First Wedding (2011), Wine to Steal (2013), Without Children (2015), Allowed (2016), and the television movie Willing to do anything. His feature film, Mama went on a trip (2017), became the most watched Argentine film of the year.
