Anahí Berneri is a scriptwriter and film director known for her realistic and intimate approach to gender issues. She wrote and directed the feature films Un año sin amor (2005), Encarnación (2007), Por tu culpa (2010), Aire libre (2014), and Alanis (2017). Elena sabe (2023) is her latest film. In addition to her work in filmmaking, Berneri teaches at Argentina’s National School of Filmmaking (ENERC, as per its Spanish acronym) and the National University of the Arts.
