Ana Katz was born in Argentina. She is an actress, screenwriter, director and producer of cinema and theater. She went to the University of Cinema. She has directed the feature filmd The Game of the Chair (House of America Award and Special Mention at the San Sebastian Film Festival), A Wandering Bride (Cinema in Progress Award and Official Selection for the Cannes Film Festival’s Un certain régard section), The Marziano (Official Selection for the San Sebastian Film Festival), My Friend from the Park (Sundance Fil Festival International Screenplay Award) and Florianópolis Dream. She wrote and directed the theater plays Lost Profits and Pangea. She acted in theater, in her own films, as well as in other’s such as Whiskey (Juan Pablo Rebella & Pablo Stoll), For a time (Gustavo Garzón), Our children (Juan Fernández Gebauer & Nicolás Suárez), The Candidate (Daniel Hendler) and Kiki, Love Is Made (Paco León).
