Federico Sosa is a graduate of the National School of Filmaking (ENERC, as per its Spanish acronym). Between 2012 and 2014, he filmed the documentary Contra Paraguay. In 2014, he produced and directed Yo sé lo que envenena, which premiered in Competition at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. In 2017, he was summoned by Ayar Stories and Pampa Films to direct Tampoco tan grandes. In 2018, he directed his fourth feature film, Tomando Estado, produced by the production company 16:9 cine. In 2019, he filmed his second documentary, Américo, which premiered in theaters in 2022. In 2024, he released the documentary about the historian Norberto Galasso titled Galasso. Pensar en nacional.
