Vladimir Durán is an actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer. Vladimir graduated in Anthropology from the University of Montreal in Canada. He trained in Acting and Acting Direction at Nora Moseinco's Acting School in Buenos Aires—where he currently teaches—and with theater directors such as Claudio Tolcachir, Andrea Garrote, Marketa Kimbrell, among others. He studied Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires and Writing with Romina Paula, Ariel Farace, Cynthia Edul, Mauricio Kartun, Ariel Barchilon, and Maria Negroni as part of the Creative Writing Master's program at the National University UNTREF. As a director, his short film “Soy tan feliz" premiered in the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival and was awarded Best Short Film at BAFICI (Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival). His feature film “So long Enthusiasm" had its world premiere at the Berlinale Forum and was awarded Best Feature Film in the Avant-Garde and Genre competition at BAFICI, Best Director in the Ibero-American competition, and Best Film in the National competition at the Cartagena Film Festival, among others.
