Born in 1982 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, he studied filmmaking in the city of Córdoba. Based in Paris since 2007, he has worked as an editor on over 30 documentaries for French television. His first documentary short film, La Croix (2006), premiered at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. As a prelude to his debut feature film Almamula (developed with the support of the Eurimages Development Award and premiered at the 73rd Berlinale), he made two short films, Sacha (2019) and Maco (2020); all of which were filmed, as well as Almaula, in his hometown of Santiago del Estero.
