Damián Coluccio was born on the February 19th of 1986 in Alberti, Buenos Aires . He studied filmmaking at the Buenos Aires University (UBA) . He co-directed his first feature film «THE BLACK TREE», selected for the Argentine competition in the Mar del Plata International Film Festival 2018. «THE BLACK TREE» also has participated in several workshops such as DOC BS AS 2014, TALENTS CAMPUS BAFICI 2014, DOC MONTEVIDEO 2016 In 2017 he made «COVUNCO», a short film selected for the BAFICI’ S short film exhibition and also in the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, China 2017 In 2011 he co-directed » THE ARK», an experimental short film winner of the «200 seconds Buenos Aires», a contest organized by the government of the city of Buenos Aires within the framework of the bicentennial. In 2010, he directed his first short film «The night of the pigs», selected for the 6th Transterritorial Underground Film Festival 2010.
