Verónica was born in 1971 in Cruz del Eje. She holds a degree in Cinema and TV from the National University of Córdoba. She is a director, producer, scriptwriter and editor. Her first documentary, Where there is smoke… (2003) was screened in Argentina, Brazil and Spain, obtaining several awards and distinctions. Her second documentary, Railroad workers (2011) premiered in Argentina’s National Competition during the 26th Mar del Plata International Film Festival, and it was later screened in movie theatres and broadcasted on TV. Her third documentary, A book is born (2022), was screened at the National Library’s Jorge Luis Borges Auditorium, during the Nave de los Sueños film series, and it was screened during the presentation of the clothbound Spinettanean Bible.
