Susana Nieri is a filmmaker, feminist activist and doctoral candidate in Gender Studies. She has fully made the documentary feature films El toro por las astas, Ella se lo buscó, and Gotas de lluvia, a corpus of films that deal with violence against women and that have been screened at film festivals, on Public TV, on Canal Encuentro, and in different spaces such as universities and cultural centers. Something wrong, her fiction debut that continues this thematic line, won the WIP award from the 2022 La Mujer y el Cine Film Festival. She has a new fdocumentary feature film in development, La salita, which has been sselected by the 2022 Construir Cine ODS LAB; and she is writing her second fiction feature film, Cartas para la manada.
