BIO

She was born in Peru in 1982 but had to go into exile in Paraguay with her whole family in 1989, escaping from the armed conflicts. There she became a director, producer, mother, and founded Tekoha Audiovisual, where she made various productions for television and documentaries. She was the producer of La afinación del diablo, premiered at IDFA. She was the executive producer of Fuera de campo, winner of DocTV Latinoamérica IV and selected at the Guadalajara Film Festival. Currently, she is the co-producer of the documentary El Príncipe de Nanawa, by Clarisa Navas. Guapo’y, about the wounds left by the military dictatorship in Paraguay, is her first feature-length documentary as a director, which premiered at IDFA and was awarded the special mention of the jury for the best first film.
