Silvia Maturana has been working as an integral director since 1990. She is a screenwriter, producer, and director of short and feature films. She coordinated workshops on Communication and the Gender Perspective. She also curated national festivals. Some of her productions were selected and awarded at national and international festivals. The most outstanding among them are Even if it costs me my life (documentary, 85 min., 2008), about the cameraman Leonardo Henrichsen; The Provocateur, First Film in Portuñol (documentary, 87 minutes 2011) about cultural resistance during a dictatorship; and Palestinians Go Home (documentary, 93 minutes, 2016) about the Palestinian diaspora in Latin America.
