Santiago Nacif was born in 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has a degree in Comunication Studies from the University of Buenos Aires. He is a professor and film director. In 2006 he founded with Roberto Persano and Gato Martínez Cantó, the Estudio SIGIL production company.Together they made the documentary films El Almafuerte (2010), Nicaragua… el sueño de una generación (2012), La parte por el todo (2015) and Los Indalos (2019), all of them screamed in several film festivals around the world. He has also been involved in the production of Al trote (2012), Las aspas del molino (2013), and Yo aborto, tu abortas, todxs callamos(2013). He is currently directing the documentary film San Pugliese, in collaboration with Maxi Acosta and Lola Winer.
