Ricardo Turesso

BIO

He is a director, producer, and audiovisual language teacher. In 2014, he founded the production company Cínicos and directed the series La cápsula del tiempo for Acequia and Paka Paka channels. In 2015, he produced the short film Deolinda, which won INCAA’s 11th Short Stories Contest; and he directed the documentary series Los inmortales for the Acequia Channel and Channel 7 of the Mendoza Province. In 2016, he served as a jury member for INCAA’s Federal Fiction Series Contest. In 2017, he directed the audiovisual content for the screens of the National Sun Festival’s Central Act; and he directed the Eco TIPS campaign, consisting of 18 animation pieces for the Environmental Secretary of the San Juan Province. In 2020, he participated in the production of a series about Covid-19 prevention and produced animated scientific education content for the Félix Aguilar Astronomical Observatory. In 2021, he produced content for the series El sol está de fiesta for the Argentine Public TV Network; and he directed the development of the children’s series Vacaciones en el espacio. In 2023, he directed the animated short film Realidad aumentada, winner of INCAA’s National Short Film Production Contest.
