Nele Wohlatz (1982, Hannover) trained in arts and cinema in Karlsruhe and Buenos Aires. She made the short films La mochila perfecta and Tres oraciones sobre la Argentina. In 2013, she co-directed Ricardo Bär with Gerardo Naumann, and in 2016, she directed her first solo feature film, El futuro perfecto, which was shown at over 60 international festivals and won numerous awards, including Best First Feature at the Locarno International Film Festival.
