Marcelo Adrián Sánchez is an Argentine director, screenwriter and playwright. He worked for more than 15 years performing different roles in cinema and advertising, to then dedicate himself to his personal projects. His opera prima, the fiction feature film Seven Seas, premiered in December 2016. It was awarded as Best Film at the Uruvatti International Festival (India), and was part of the Official Selection of the Bogotá International Film Festival, where Sánchesz received the Best Director Award. In addition, the film was participated in the Official Selection at the Rome Independent Prisma Awards; and was finalist at the Bergen International Film Festival in Norway. His most recent work is the documentary Ánimecheri, shot in the Janitzio Island (Mexico).
