BIO

Actress, director, playwright, and teacher, she began her theatrical training at the age of 15. She has evolved within the independent theater scene and also experienced the country’s largest stages. She won the ACE Award for Best Actress in a One-Person Show for Yo, Encarnación Ezcurra (directed by Andrés Bazzalo), among other awards and nominations for various theatrical works. As a theater director, she has staged Cabaret Lagarce, Monoambiente, and Cancionero rojo, among others. She has received widespread acclaim for her theatrical piece Imprenteros (in which she served as actress, playwright, and director), addressing the documentary work on trades and family. She has also appeared in leading film roles in El año del león (directed by Mercedes Laborde), El bosque de los perros, and La humedad (both directed by Gonzalo Zapico). Additionally, she collaborates with the creative processes area of Revista Anfibia – Cronos. Since 1999, she has been teaching acting classes with a laboratory approach. From the outset, her creations have always engaged with performative approaches. Her work as an actress and director is characterized by an encouragement of interdisciplinary crossover, exploring a wide range of genres and styles. In 2024, she will premiere the film version of Imprenteros, which she co-directed with Gonzalo Zapico.
