Jenni Merla was born in Buenos Aires in 1990. She is an actress, director and screenwriter. In 2015 she received a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires. Among the latest projects in which she starred, we can highlight: “Máquina para ver el alma” (2022) by Ana Montserrat; “Santa Evita” (2022 – Star Plus) directed by Rodrigo Garcia; “Juana Banana” (2022) by Matias Szulanski and “Felices los 6” (2023 – HBO) She wrote, directed and starred in the short films: “Que todo se derrumbe” (2021 – BAFICI 22), “Las Fitonias” (2022) and “Ángel y Perla” (2023 – BAFICI 24). She is currently developing a series titled “Que todo se derrumbe” supported by the Metropolitan Fund for the Arts and writing her debut feature “Alegría Macarena”.
