Gastón Sahajdacny is an Argentine filmmaker who works in both television and film. He works as a Sound Technician for film and TV productions. In 2015, he edited Embarcados, a documentary feature film by Rodrigo Fierro. In 2016, he participated in DocMontevideo, where he received an Honorable Mention and an invitation to the IDFA for Construcciones, by Fernando Restelli. Moto, his first feature film as a director, had its world premiere at DocLisboa and received an Honorable Mention for New Talents. Prior to this, the film was part of several labs, including Translab Transcinema, FIDBA, Marcha de Orquídea Pro, MAFIZ Málaga, Talents Berlinale Bafici, and Pitching Documental DocMontevideo. In 2023, Moto will be participating in the Official Selection for International Documentary Competition at the International Festival of Malaga, and the Official Selection for Reencuentro de Toulouse. Currently, Gastón is developing his second film, Cartografía de una ciudad en sombras, with funding from the Polo Audiovisual Córdoba and the INCAA.
