Francisco Canton was born in Buenos Aires in 1992. He has been working alongside Patricio Martinez for almost ten years, creating documentary shorts, music videos, and television commercials as part of the director collective Pantera. His first short film, Loose Fish, was completed in 2020 and screened at the Toronto, BFI London, and Camerimage Festivals. His second short film, Nada de todo esto, has been selected to premiere at Cannes in May 2023. Currently, they are editing a documentary about the Argentine musician and actress Juana Molina.
