He was born in Buenos Aires and studied at the University of Cinema (FUC, as per its Spanish acronym). In 1996 he directed the documentary De todas formas teatro (National Arts Fund Award). In 2005, he co-directed, with Tristán Bauer and Carolina Scaglione, La noche de los bastones largos: el futuro intervenido, and in 2015 he premiered his third film, La música interior. Canción sobre canción (2023) is his fourth feature-length documentary.
