Federico Sotelo was born in 1981 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Image and Sound Design. He made several short films, one of them Lo de Carola selected by the National Fund for the Arts. Cameraman for the Buenos Aires audiovisual center at the General San Martín Cultural Center, cameraman for the musical series Jazzoologia (city channel), winner of the Martin Fierro cable award for best pop/rock/Latin/jazz music program. He currently works as a cameraman in the audiovisual department of the General San Martín Theater, Escenarios de Buenos Aires, a documentary program of the theater complex broadcast by (canal á), winner of the Martin Fierro cable award for best Cultural/Educational program. Creative director of the production company El Doctor audiovisual productions. Director and Screenwriter of Video Clips. Director and Screenwriter in his first feature-length documentary Señor Jazz, the film by Carlos Inzillo.
