Federico Schmukler is an Argentine director and screenwriter. Since 2016 he has written and directed three short films: El corredor (2016), Refugio (2017) and Le Warrior (2018). He also wrote the script for Sebastián Muñoz’s Los pájaros (Chile, 2019), Shawn Garry’s Ahora vienen por nosotros (Chile, 2022), and Julieta Sánchez Sananez’s María (Argentina, 2022). He has worked as Assistant Director and Script Supervisor in ten feature films, two fiction series and more than fifteen short films. His works with director Jayro Bustamante in the feature films Temblores (2017), La llorona (2019), and Rita (in post production) represent a milstone in his carrear. Felipe is his first feature film as a director, screenwriter and a producer.
