Federico J. Arioni started making short films with a home camera from a young age, self-taught. His first feature film, Por un puñado de pesos, was a crime genre movie filmed in Neuquén Capital, which premiered in the local cinema in 2015. In 2019, he made his second feature film: Nadie está loco, a drama with fantastic and psychological elements that also premiered in Neuquén Capital. In 2017, he won the Revelation Award at the XIV Vecinos en Saladillo Film Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2019, Nadie está loco won the Best Film award at the East x NorthEast Film Festival in Newburgh, New York, USA. In 2020, Nadie está loco won the Best Film and Best Director awards at the Montgomery Film Festival. In 2021, Nadie está loco won the Best Science Fiction Film award at the Latino and Native American Film Festival. Nadie está loco was also declared of interest by the Legislative Power of the Province of Neuquén in 2019. In 2022, it was acquired by an American production company for distribution in different countries.
