Eduardo Crespo was born in Crespo (Province of Entre Ríos, Argentina) in 1983. He is a director and cinematographer. Las delicias is his fourth film, which premiered worldwide in the International Competition of IDFA (Netherlands); it was then presented at True/False (United States), Frames of Representation (United Kingdom), the Guadalajara Film Festival (Mexico), and the Biarritz Festival (France), and won the Best Film award at DOCBHI. His previous film, Nosotros nunca moriremos (2020), premiered in the Official Section of the San Sebastián Film Festival, won the Nueva Visión Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, and the Cóndor de Plata for Best Original Screenplay. He has also directed Crespo (La continuidad de la memoria) (2016) and Tan cerca como pueda (2012). Currently, he is developing a new fiction project called La gruta del viento, with which he participated in the Ikusmira Berriak Residence and won the Irusoin prize.”
