She was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. She is a film and television director and writer. She is known for her HBO Max series, María Marta (2022), the Telefe hit Pequeña Victoria (2021), and Entre horas (2012), produced for Argentina’s Public Television Network. She has directed four films. Her debut, Vísperas (2005), premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Her following films, Abzurdah (2015) and El hilo rojo (2016), became box office successes in Argentina before gaining significant recognition in Spain and the rest of Latin America. El rapto (2023) premiered at the international festivals in Venice and Toronto before its exclusive release on Paramount+.
