Belén Varela Díaz (Trelew, 1988) is a director, producer and screenwriter. She trained as a director at CIEVYC and as an actress at different schools. Currently, she is studying Philosophy at The National University of Sa Martín (UNSAM, as per its Spanish acronym). She directed the short films Darkskyblue, Yucca Leaves, and Death has no name.
