With 25 years of film activity and over 50 audiovisual productions, the cartoonist, writer, and musician Andrés Llugany has developed his own cinematic language, related to comics and fantasy, making his productions easily identifiable. His work is characterized by valuing narrative synthesis, silence in dialogues, reflective pauses, journeys through spaces; without neglecting a certain type of particular humor and a continuous intention for expressive experimentation. Among his most awarded works are Alicia se muere otra vez (2006), awarded at the International Film Festival of Mar del Plata, El silencio (2014), winner of the Martín Fierro Award, and Los emigrantes (2018), awarded at various international festivals.
