Andrés Guerberoff was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. In 2021, he premiered Borom Taxi, his first feature film, which was selected for the 52nd Visions du Réel, the 5th Black Canvas Contemporary Film Festival, the Cinélatino – 34th Rencontres de Toulouse, and for which he received the Best Documentary Award at the 34th International Film Festival of Viña del Mar. He investigates and exhibits experimental versions of pre-cinematographic devices. Some of his works can be seen in permanent exhibition at the Pablo Ducrós Hicken Film Museum in Buenos Aires. He works as a teacher, giving workshops on this subject matter.
