Alexis Franco

BIO

Alexis Franco was born in Argentina and currently resides in the United States, working in both film and architecture. He has been involved in numerous globally recognized projects, including Stop the Poinding Heart, The Other Side, and What You Gonna Do When the World’s on Fire?, where he served as Assistant Director to renowned filmmaker Roberto Minervini. These films premiered at the Cannes and Venice film festivals and have been shown worldwide. He also worked on a Cuban documentary, El Quijote del Caribe, and later served as Executive Producer for Dirty Feathers, which debuted at the Berlin Film Festival along with the Japanese film Yasuo (The Garden Master). Alexis studied music at the American Musical Institute, earning a Music Teacher degree. He currently practices as an architect at Collaborative Designworks in Houston, Texas, a design firm whose projects have received national awards and recognition in the United States; he is also an international member of the American Institute of Architects.
