Andrea Braga was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1986. He is a producer, director, and screenwriter. He graduated from the Letters and Philosophy program at Università del Sacro Cuore di Brescia and from the Filmmaking program at Eliseo Subiela Professional Film School, where he also teaches. He has been working in film and music video production since 2014. He began his career as a director and screenwriter with the fiction short films Evelyn (2015) and Memoria Interna (2017), both of which received awards and international recognition. In 2021, he founded his production company Kumo Cine, and filmed his debut feature film Legítima defensa, in co-production with Pensa & Rocca Cine.
