Pablo Solarz is a screenwriter, film director, actor, and teacher. He graduated from Drama School of Buenos Aires ETBA in 1990 and studied filmmaking in Columbia College Chicago between 1995 and 1998, after which he returned to Buenos Aires to work as a screenwriter. He is the author of the Argentine films Minimal Stories, Who Says It s Easy, The Bottle, A Boyfriend for my Wife, and I Married a Dumbass. In 2011 he premiered his first feature as a director, Together Forever, and in 2017 The Last Suit. His film I Woke Up with a Dream, shot in the beach town of La Paloma, (Rocha, Uruguay) premiered at the 73o Berlin International Film Festival. His next film, The Perfect Woman, is now in development. For the past 20 years he has coordinated screenwriting workshops in Argentina and other Iberoamerican countries, and has also served as a script consultant for various films.
