Marina Seresesky (Buenos Aires, 1969) is a screenwriter and film director, whose two facets have been united since the beginning of her career. In her films, the actors have absolutely all the weight of the plot, with every gesture, look and nuance helping to understand the story. Despite having great locations and wonderful landscapes, the camera is always very close to the actors, following their deepest thoughts very closely. Among her films are Empieza el baile (2023), a feature film that received the Julio Alejandro de Guion Award (granted by the SGAE Foundation), as well as the feature films Lo nunca visto (2019) and La puerta abierta (2016), which received two nominations for the Goya Awards of Spanish Cinema and more than 30 awards at national and international festivals.
