Liliana (July) Massaccesi is a prominent professional in the film and audiovisual arts industry. Since 1997, she has worked as the coordinator of the Cinemateca at the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA, as per its Spanish acronym). She holds a degree in the Teaching of Audiovisual Arts from the National University of San Martin and the National Filmmaking School (ENERC, as per its Sapnish acronym), where she also graduated in Film Production in 1995. Between 1998 and 1999, Massaccesi was the General Coordinator of Students and Instructors at ENERC. She made her directorial debut in 2009 with her first feature film, Cabeza de pescado, and has also co-directed the films La casa en la playa and Olaf. Her next project, also as co-director, is the film Mujeres, una segunda oportunidad. In addition to directing, she has been a producer and screenwriter of numerous short films, and has participated in courses and seminars related to cinema and audiovisual arts
