He was born in 1976 in Argentina. He lives and works in Buenos Aires. He obtained a degree in Arts from the University of Buenos Aires’ School of Philosophy and Letters. He recieved the Best Director Award at the 2021 BAFICI, the Special Jury Award at the 2020 Documenta, the Critic’s Award at the 2015 FIDMarseille, and has been granted two prizes by the Metropolitan Fund for the Arts and another prize by The National Fund for the Arts. His films have screened at Berlinale, Viennale, Rotterdam, IDFA, Art of the Real, FIDMarseille, Cinéma du Réel, Sheffield, Ji.hlava and FICUNAM.
