He was born in México City, in 1985. His debut feature film, Castration (2012), obtained the Hubert Bals Fund. He won twice the National Young Artists Grant for Script Development, one of them for his current film No quiero ser polvo. His latest short film Encounter (2019), won the Main Prize at Morelia Film Festival, was nominated for the Mexican Academy Awards, and also qualified for the Oscars.
