Gonzalo Santiso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studyed Filmmaking at ENERC-INCAA. He trained in dramaturgy, acting and directing. He edited the feature film Café de los maestros, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, Lita Stantic and Walter Salles (2007). He produced and directed the documentary feature film Nos fuimos, about Argentine immigrants in Montreal, Canada (2008). He also produced and directed the documentary series Pueblos originarios and Historias de las ciudades for the Telesur Network (2009); as well as No es sólo rocanrol, for Canal Encuentro (2011). Since 2004 he has been a film and montage teacher at ENERC, FUC and UNA. He wrote, produced and directed the play Se decide en sudestada (2017). He currently writes, produces and directs for film and theater.
