Carolina is a screenwriter and director based in São Paulo – Brazil. She has written and directed six short films selected to around 300 festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, Toronto, SXSW, AFI and has earned over 70awards. She is currently in post-production of her second feature film Toll, awarded by Tribeca All Access Development Program and selected to the Torino Film Lab Extended and the Berlinale Co-Production Market. Her debut feature, Charcoal, awarded twice at Cine en Construcción 2022, has been presented in Competition at TIFF – Platform and San Sebastian Film Festival – Horizontes Latinos.
