Brenda Taubin holds a degree in Image and Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires’ School of of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, and ishe s also a graduate from Buenos Aires’ School of Dramatic Art. As a director, she made the short documentary Whats Defines Me (2016), which participated at the Jerusalem Film Festival. The documentary feature film Thelma, the Cinema and the Soldier is her first feature film. The project was part of the Marche du Film at the Cannes Festival, the Malaga Festival Market (Best Project Award) and the 2019 IDFA Industry Pitching Session. The film premiered at the 23rd BAFICI.
