Augusto Schillaci is a Director, writer and Senior VFX supervisor. He has been working on animation for the last thirty years. During his extensive career, he has worked side by side with the top production companies in the industry, such as DreamWorks, Sony, Warner Brothers , Disney, Fox and Paramount pictures. Augusto has directed multiple projects, including the inaugural animated short films from the Best Fiends mobile app franchise, animated commercial spots for LEGO Batman and Chevrolet, as well as game cinematics for Transformers and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In his award-winning career at Reel FX, he has been actively involved in the studio’s development efforts for their animated projects, and held the role of Senior Visual Effects Supervisor on both of Reel FX’s 3D feature films including the Golden Globe-nominated film, The Book of Life (20th Century Fox), and Free Birds (Relativity Media). where he was also Art Director.
