His first feature film, Raíz, premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival and received the award for Best Chilean Film at the Valdivia Film Festival. His short film Necesito saber debuted at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. His second fiction feature, Un lugar llamado Dignidad, was selected for L’ Atelier de la Cinéfondation at the Cannes Festival, premiered in the Official Competition at the Tallinn Film Festival, where it won Best Director at the Huelva Film Festival, and was also featured in festivals like Göteborg, Athens, HOF, Trieste, and Chicago. His first documentary feature, Aullido de invierno, premiered at the Tallinn Film Festival in 2023.
