Federico Cardone was born in Mendoza in 1968. He is the coordinator of the University of Mendoza’s Movie Theater and the Artistic Director of the Graba Mendoza Festival. He works as a teacher of Editing at the National University of Cuyo, and of Scriptwriting at Mendozas’ School of Film and Video. He created the television specials Cortázar en Mendoza (2016) and Eliana Molinelli: viaje al corazón de los metales (2020). He also directed the television series Una canción viene de lejos (2013), and the fiction feature film Vidas imaginarias (in post-production). His documentary Lagunas is participating in the 38th Mar del Plata International Film Festival.
