Pablo Guallar is a director, producer, and screenwriter. He earned both a Bachelor’s and Teaching degree in Arts from the University of Buenos Aires. With the documentary Crónicas de un exilio, he won the Raymundo Gleyzer Competition from Argentina’s National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts, as well as the Best Film Award in the National Competition at the Entre Ríos International Film Festival in 2023. He is the creator of Moctezuma and Morón City Blues, works for which he received various accolades. His latest film, Siestas, was featured in the selection of the Havana New Latin American Film Festival and the Official Competition of the Trieste Latin American Film Festival.
