María Zanetti (Argentina, 1980) is a screenwriter and director who has collaborated in the direction department with renowned filmmakers. For a decade, she carved her niche as a director of music videos and commercials. In 2021, her project Alemania was featured in the Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum at the San Sebastián Film Festival and won the International Artekino Award. That same year, Quema -her second feature-length project- was selected for the Raymundo Gleyzer contest by Argentina’s National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA, as per its Spanish acronym).
